My name is Frank Daly. I have been in the industry since 1991. I am starting
a blog to open up dialogue to expand our lives so that we become better at serving
others.I have come to realize how lucky I am to have entered into this industry.
We all have our reasons for choosing this profession. Mine was because I thought
it would be easy. After all going to college for four years or even more seemed a
lot more difficult than one year in beauty school. Was I wrong! Though
it felt right it was not easy. I was not a natural. In the beginning I
struggled a lot. The biggest reason for my struggle was my perception as to
what made a successful stylist; and I was not that stylist. After 10 years in
the business I went to work for a big company "Graham Webb" as an educator.
Being exposed to some of the best stylists in the world. Working side by side with
them my perspective changed. What I came to realize was that no one stylist
was better than another, they were just different in their approach. The thing
I did learn and has stuck with me ever since is that all the successful stylists,
and for that matter all successful people have all in common is a never ending thirst
for knowledge. As I continue to discover new things I would like to share what
I know with others. This blog will help you to be a success as a stylist as
well as in all areas of your life. After all when you are truly successful,
your life will be in harmony in all areas. Remember success is not the destination,
but the journey. This blog will help you along your journey. I wish you
an exciting one.

Sincerely.
